Our Love for Open Adoption

We have an open adoption with Iris's birth families. We absolutely love open adoption, and are so thankful for the blessing of having our daughter's biological families in our lives. We love them! In our relationship with Iris's birth families, we keep in touch with visits a couple times a year, phone calls, emails, letters, and a private blog with lots of pictures, videos and updates about how Iris is doing. We feel like open adoption is so beneficial for everyone involved, and especially for our daughter. We hope to have open relationships with all of our children's birth families!
